These terms and conditions apply to both Caravan Group & Towing Services (UK) Ltd.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
The following conditions apply to and are deemed to be incorporated in all contracts for sale and supply of the company's services and materials.
By purchasing an item from Towing Services UK Limited you are agreeing to abide by the following Terms and Conditions.
PRIVACY POLICY:
Control of Personal Information
Any information that we have collected about you or that you have inputted yourself is kept in a secure area of the site and can only be accessed by specific staff.
Under no circumstances will any information be distributed to third parties or other companies.
The information we have stored about you is used only for payment processing, order creation and delivery.
How Secure Is Information About Me?
We work hard to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.
We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card number when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of personally identifiable customer information as directed by the United Kingdom Data Protection Act.

RETURNS POLICY:
No returned item will be accepted unless you have previously contacted us and we have given you a "Returns Advice Code". This code can be obtained by phoning us on 0870 3332968 or by e-mailing us at caravangroup@btconnect.com.
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item(s) within 7 working days of delivery. This applies to all of our products provided that all item(s) are returned unused, with packaging and in a re-saleable condition. Upon receipt of these items we will issue a refund and/or resend the correct item(s), with the exception of special order items which you have specifically requested.
Please note that you are responsible for the safe return of any item(s) including the cost of delivery both ways unless we have sent incorrect or damaged good(s). An item is not deemed to be incorrect if the replacement is a recognised alternative or an item which has been upgraded or modified by the manufacturer. No goods will be accepted back if it has been fitted modified or damaged.
Goods returned, after your 7 day 'cooling off' period, which are either unwanted or incorrectly ordered by the customer may be subject to a 30% handling/re-stocking charge. This does not apply to special orders, which are non-returnable.
Please note that the UK's distance selling regulations only apply to item(s) despatched to a UK address, unfortunately we will not accept returned item(s) from an overseas address.
Before you return any unwanted item please do remember to first contact us for a "Returns Advice Code", as no returned item will be accepted by us without this. This code can be obtained by phoning us on 0870 3332968, or e-mailing us at caravangroup@btconnect.com.

REFUNDS:
The Caravan Group uses the Protx/SagePay secure payment service to process our online payment transactions, any payments taken using this service will only be refunded using this service.
GUARANTEE:
Most of the parts we sell carry a 3 month warranty against faulty materials or workmanship. In the unlikely event of component failure please contact us by e-mail at caravangroup@btconnect.com to confirm the fault and if appropriate arrange the return of the faulty item(s) for testing and repair/replacement. This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights.
SPECIAL ORDERS:
Special orders are non stock lines. These item(s) will be specially ordered on your behalf. If delivery times are specified they are based on the past performance of the manufacturer. We regret that we can not guarantee delivery within this time scale. Please note that special order items cannot be returned to us for a refund.
DAMAGED GOODS:
If you receive an item that has been damaged, please contact us immediately to arrange a replacement. In the event that you receive damaged goods, we required all packaging with any courier details to make a successful claim. In the event that you cannot provide us with this, we regret that we cannot accept the damaged parts back.
DEFINITION OF INCORRECT GOODS:
Please note that all goods are subject to design and specification changes. Often the items provided may not be an exact match for the originals but are deemed to be suitable alternatives. Where you order spare parts and we send them to you, it is expected that these will be fitted by a competent person with suitable product knowledge. Any new component parts that we have sent you that have been fitted will not be accepted for refund as we will consider them to have been used.
INCORRECT GOODS:
If you receive an incorrect please inform us immediately so that we can arrange despatch of the correct part as soon as possible. Alternatively you can cancel your order and we will refund your payment on receipt of the returned item(s)umused, with all packaging.
If you purchased an incorrect item from our web shop and it has not yet been sent to you, please inform us immediately so that we can cancel the order. If the order has already been despatched you are responsible for the safe return of the unwanted goods, (in a re-saleable condition) upon receipt of which we will arrange despatch of the correct item(s) or refund your payment if you prefer. In this case you are responsible for the cost of carriage both ways.
CARRIAGE COSTS:
All carriage costs quoted are for UK delivery only. International deliveries will incur a different charge which will be quoted individually. Please email us first to confirm the courier charge at caravangroup@btconnect.com
DELIVERY TIMES:
All delivery times quoted are approximate based on previous information supplied by the Royal mail and other couriers.
We are not responsible for any delays that may occur in transit.
DISCLAIMER:
All component parts that we send you, particularly gas and electrical items must be fitted by a "qualified engineer" using the correct tools and test equipment and with the appliance disconnected from the gas, electrical mains or battery supply. We will not accept back returned goods that have been damaged during the installation process due to accident, negligence or lack of professional training.

OWNERSHIP OF GOODS:
All goods will remain the property of Towing Services UK Limited/ Caravangroup until such time as payment for them has been encashed at our bank or credit card processing house.
SALE OF KNIVES OR BLADED ARTICLES: 
It is an offence for any person under the age of 18 years to purchase most kinds of knives. We shall only supply knives and related equipment to customers over the age of 18 years. The sale of knives and bladed articles are regulated by law and subject to these Supply Terms. We reserve the right to refuse the sale if we have reasonable cause to believe you are below the age of 18 years, or if we believe that the supply of Goods to you may infringe the law or present an unacceptable potential risk to the safety of others. Our main goal is to promote the safe use of the specialist tools and for this reason we always take steps to ensure that our knives and tools are promoted in a responsible manner.
Knife Law 2007 - Possesion in a Public Place It may be an offence under the Criminal Justice Act to carry a bladed or sharply pointed instrument in a public place, unless a good reason can be provided for carrying same.

Sale of Knives It is illegal to sell a knife to an under eighteen.
Criminal Justice Act 1988 banned the sale of amongst other items, throwing stars, belt buckle knives, push daggers and butterfly knives. Flick knives have been banned since the 1950’s. It is an offence to sell or market a knife in such a way as it suggests its
suitable for personal injury.
Keep and Use Your Knife Responsibly It may be an offence to carry a bladed or sharply pointed instrument in a public place if you cannot show good reason e.g. for work. The only exception from this is a small non locking folding pocket knife with a cutting edge less than 3”.
TOWBARS & THE LAW:
European Law states that all light passenger vehicles registered on or after the 1st August 1998 require a type approved towbar tested to EC94120, & towball with suitable D&S value. (The correct towball will either be supplied free of charge with your towbar or can be purchased as a upgrade) This is not retrospective and does not affect any vehicle registered before this date. Other vehicles not subject to type approval are - commercial vehicles, car derived vans and motor caravans.
QUALITY:
All towbars are designed with the aid of the latest CAD technology to fit precisely to the vehicle manufacturer's designated mounting points and are renowned for their ease of fit & unobtrusive appearance. Once the design is tested and approved to rigorous European standard EC94 / 20, it is then manufactured by our experienced production team using only certified British steel and finished in a high quality primer.
BRITISH EUROPEAN STANDARDS:
All towbars comply with ISO 1102 & (BS AU 113) which specifies the dimensions & location of the towbar to ensure a safe & level towing height between 350mm & 420mm ground to centre of towball. EC94/20 the European Regulation: the towbars are totally committed to conform to this standard & continue to have a full testing program in conjunction with the Vehicle Certification Agency.
